Stage Kits in Canada

The pricing in Canada is out to lunch, even with the exchange rate. I was quoted $1264 canadian for stage two kit plus three hours labour. Has anyone been quoted cheaper in Canada?

$1264 is list price CND I think. I think some people on here have gotten it for about $1,000 CND. You may find that if you shop around.

3 hours is a bit much, but if it is their first time, than maybe it will take that long. 1.5 - 2 hours sounds more reasonable to me.

I have been qouted many prices. you do have to shop around. I have had 1475 to 1050.

Stage 1 lowest price is 650!

pain in the ass shopping but just pick up the phone and call a rural dealership or something. that is what I did.

I got 1075 for stage 2 with 4 hours install. The mechanic is great and has done 2 stage 2 installs already. He said that is how long it takes, he can do it no quicker. I have not been able to find a better price.

Do you mean 1075 with 4 hours included in the 1075? If thats the case people start lining up at this dealership...that deal would be unreal.

No way in hell that takes 4 hours. A good Mechanic can pull the whole damn motor in less time than that.

Sounds like it makes a lot more sense to order it in the States and pick it up. I have family there and I think I'll get it down there. $1200 is ridiculous.

I ment $1075 for the kit + installation and tax. GM believes they have to make money at every step through the supply chain. So in the transition from USA to Canada GM makes a profit, which costs us more money (bastards). But they feel that is the best way to do buisness and that is why it is more for us to get the kit.

Mine got put in the mail april 4th and will be here friday. This is a lil messed cuz the holidays and customs supposedly delay it alot. when I bought my front lower grill from CED it took exactly 5 business days. I was hoping for something similar with stage 2 but as long as I get it this week Ill be happy.

BTW I pre-order in the begining of March
