Steering Box differences SC/TC

I saw a clip on youTube a while ago that basically said the TC 2.0 came with a better steering box that had a bigger ratio. My 06 SS steering kinda sucks. It drives like a real stock car w/out power steering. I know that part is related to the recall so I plan to have my dealer look it over and replace the power steering but I considered having them replace the steering box to the newer 08-09 box if it's the same size/mount. My SS has the worst turning radius of any car I've owned. I've owned 3/4 ton trucks that turn sharper lol. It has lead to me rubbing a couple wheels & tires against the curb entrance at work because it's a tough corner to cut. Anyone know if its possible to swap steering boxes? I'm guessing it would be hellaciously expensive to replace but who knows.

Upgraded Steering knuckles is about all I can think of

Part Numbers
88958710 LH Steering Knuckle
88958711 RH Steering Knuckle

As for turning radius, it still sucks on the 08-10

Just have to backup here and there

If you want a better radius, consider getting smaller wheels.

The turning radius isn't TOO bad on our cars. I drove my friends NSRT-4 and that was awful.

The other difference is the electronic assist, but that won't help turning radius.

Actually, I just had a brain fart. The steering would not turn farther with the new rack from the SS TC. All they changed was the steering gear ratio (quickener) so it just turns to its max with less turning from the steering wheel but will still be limited in total travel. Sooo yea I'm a moron heh. Rock Auto has the same parts for both cars so there must not be a difference.
