I am curious to know what kind of IAT2's would come out of that thing, also, what kind of boost are you seeing comparatively? It looks great BTW, they did an amazing job all around.

Im just guessing on those numbers based on the info/ratio on their site. Do they sound reasonable to you? I think the price is for sure!

Well the owner has a spare supercharger. So dyno that and then dyno this. It should give us a relatively better idea on gains.

Then if you pay with money order or cashier's check they give you a 5% discount so $725 total for me.

I wasn't going to get the polishing done but the porting work was less than the $500 I expected and the $300 polishing price tag was also lower than I thought so I went for it.
It looks great, but Holy F-ing $725 Batman! I have been porting blowers for ~$100 and underselling myself apparently.

Also dyno test it, because the triangle opening is not opened very much, but I see porting in the intake part (sometimes causes sensor errors)

20-25hp NEVER! LOL, it only helps in a little bit. It was probably the worst hp/$ ratio spent in a while on the Cobalt. But on the other hand, I don't know another supercharger that looks that god on the outside :-)

I see the price as not to unreasonable. After reading EVERYTHING that they do I must say, I'm quite impressed.

Yeah I've done 18 or 19 blowers. And they only take about $8 in bits. The hardest part is all of the aluminum dust. Best to get a breath mask, aluminum makes you really sick and causes alzheimers :-(

I guess it's a matter of how much money you can spend. But it's definitely one of the more expensive mods. And although the whine does get louder, temps only drop a little bit, and there is usually NO additional boost.

I swapped the blowers in less than 15 minutes taking my sweet time... So I was thinking the best way to get a somewhat accurate dyno would be to get a 3.07" pulley from Nate to fit his hub that is on my Stiegemeier'ized blower to make it equivalent to the Stage II pulley on my stock blower.

But there's no dyno near me that I know of, closest one I know of is a 90 minute drive.

I saw my IAT2s go up to 149 once when I was out for a spin with the car. But it could've been higher; I was trying to watch the road, the boost gauge, and everything else. They did drop immediately though since I'm set up with a dual pass option B and a Cobra heat exchanger. Hard to get a good handle on your IAT2s without data logging. I popped the hood after my 20 minute loop and the housing wasn't as hot to the touch as the stock one usually is and I had obviously been a lot harder on the car...

Someone asked about boost levels - I was seeing 14-15 with the stock blower with a Stage II pulley and about 16 with a 2.95" pulley on the ported blower. Nothing too unexpected there. I've read in more than one place that a ported blower can lower boost levels.

Looks sick man. A polished blower is like a jewel, after you open the box the chicks eyes open up....wait....
maybe it's not their eyes. Muhaha

Congrats on a great mod.
