Stock Cat Coverter

I have a 06 SS/SC and am looking to get a high flow cat but I don't know which one to get. Do I need the o2 bung or not. I'm planning on getting the Magnaflow one from modern performance. I asked them and they don't know. Has anyone changed their cat converter and know if the o2 sensor is in it. It would be a great help thanks.

I believe that the answer is yes since there arent any 02 sims out there yet. jus get it with it so it is easier and you will pass inspection without worries of a CEL for no 02 sensor.

I have a Injen CAI and Magnaflow cat back that I haven't put on yet. So i'm looking to get a high flow cat to replace to stock one and go with the cat back. Also planning on GM stage 2 if it ever comes out.

You do not replace the section of tubing off the down pipe with the o2 sensor. Just replace the catback and there is nothing else to do. the o2 sensor is before the mounting point.

The cat on our SS/SC's is pretty constrictive actually. A nice good quality header, high flow cat, and high flow cat-back would definatley help our cars out tremendously.
