Has anybody installed a performance clutch such as Spec Stage 3 and not installed a new flywheel, and have u had any issues with the stock flywheel, because i was told that purchasing a performance clutch and not a new flywheel will cause ur stock flywheel to get screwed up.

 

If you get the stock flywheel resurfaced you'll be fine. It is not necesary to get a new flywheel unless the stock one is warped badly, broke, or worn thin.

 

I've got a Spec 3+ and the stock flywheel. They just resurfaced it and it works fine.

 

hmmm..... i never really considered that keeping the stock flywheel could pose a problem.

is it a more sound idea to just get the flywheel at the same time?

 

i guess it makes sense to get one since its right there, i don t want a really light one though.
whats involved in resurfacing the stock one if you keep the stock flywheel, i didnt know you had to do that.

 

i just wasnt a big fan of revving my engine every time i want to get going. dont mind..... but i guess getting a new flywheel is a good idea
