Your timing should be a tad higher if you have meth...

oops reading > me

well then your good rodimus. You can run the low 12ish afr like me and for safe measure have it ramp to 11.8 afr in the upper rpm band. I beat the hell out of my car some nights and had no problems.

i tuned hoffa's car. unless someone jacked my laptop in my sleep. no one has seen that file, nor my current file in my car.

i really really hate liars. then again, you're banned!

rodimus. i can fix your power problem. you just have to set the meth to kick in at 4 psi and be wide open at 4 psi. you also have to run a 90/10 meth mix. depends if you're prepared to do that or not

I thought that if you increased the cylinder pressure than you have to cut back on timing. I understand the higher octane, but how does a longer burn help in creating hp. Sorry my mind is fried from finals, and i'm probably missing something easy and simple.

actually you can. if you start messing with meth mixtures you can gain power and add timing. how much are you running right now and what pulley?

looking at your tune, i see your piston protection is still enabled at 3600 rpm

i had that same issue, i had a intake, header/downpipe, stage 2 injectors and 2.8 pulley and was only making 225 whp after a custom tune. (forgot about piston protection)

if you have a wideband, it would help tremendously. basically what we did was disable piston protection (can't actually disable it but can set it to kick in at something like 8100 rpm) and reset the afr to what we wanted. now i'm pushing an even 250 whp with nothing more than a re-tune.

what numbers does your wideband display at around 5500 rpm and then 6500 rpm? mine nose dived to 10.0 or even richer but the wideband couldn't read it

well... that's interesting then. do you have any logs of a 3rd gear pull? is your wideband also able to be read through hpt?
