stock sc --> zzp turbo

I have a stock ss/sc, and before i waste my time and money with gms2 and tvs blowers Im just going to go straight to the turbo.

I have a turbo focus I turboed and I'm just trying to figure out what else is needed or should be used with the zzp kit. heres what I can think of.

intercepter guage ( for Iat's )
Wideband
3 inch exhaust

not sure how hp tuners work because I'm used to SCT flash tuning, But when getting tuned either by a shop or remote tuning do they use your HP tuners? also is there a thread someone can direct me to that explains hp tuners a bit more.

I should add some stage 2 engine mounts aswell. Basically im trying to have all the parts ready to bolt the turbo kit on and tune. so have as little downtime as possible. Only aiming for 300 whp on stock clutch and engine for now

with almost all turbo kits you are gonna be at 350whp +. With all of the parts and 2+ people plan for two days and hope for one. A local group was able to do a used HAHN s20g swap in 1.5 days and that included going to the store for missing parts.

If you want to learn more about hptuners go to their forums. There is a lot of good information on that site.

I plan on having everything installed beforehand like exhaust wideband and what not. So its to bolt on the turbo kit. I have lots of experience with this kinda stuff after taking apart my own turbo kit on my focus a dozen times or so. I know It will take a few days. Also I can lower the boost with a smaller wastegate spring to give me my desired 300whp

I have the exact same problem! I keep considering gm stage 2 or something, But it would be pointless. also when I take the blower off of my car im giving it to my friend so he can put it on his 2.2

I don't know that you're gonna be able to get away with a stock clutch

but aside from your list I would add rotated mounts

I know of 2 people who are/were at 350whp on the stock clutch one was m62/nitrous a few years ago and another is on an s20g. Another member has the GMPP clutch on 22psi estimated 400whp.

There are personally know to me and the 400whp is a very knowledgeable and know member but I will leave his name out cause he gets too many pm's already.
