straight pipe?

my 06 ss is just a daily, i have alot of other builds going on right now but i like the sound of the ss, but its not loud enough. hah. what results would i see if i had a custom straight pipe, no muffler, no cat made for my car. I'd probally unbolt my stock system and pop this piping on for a week or 2 just when i want it loud. what size is recomended? I just want a cheap loud rumble sound to enjoy while my money pits are being assembled

Sorry, but the LSJ sounds nasty, open downpipe or "straight pipe". If you don't have exhaust yet just get a header/downpipe and a catback. I had the Vibrant combo and a magnaflow catback, sounded good.
