Strange exhaust leak or is it?

Well i installed my 2.9 pulley on with nor problems about 800 miles ago and now I am getting what seems to be an exhaust leak that is gettung worse by the day. I took it to 2 muffles shops and they can't find the hole anywhere. They even covered up the tail pipe and evrything with no results. 1 guy said its the supercharger making the sound but I sure hope it isn't. I personally put it on the lift at work(I paint cars and do bodywork) and me and the mechanics are clueless. You hear nothing at normal pedal but as soon as you hit boost and especially when you punch it...its a horrible sound. Any way these can be the supercharger?

yeh well you could have a **** up gasket or something of the sort but here is a little trick. If you have a welding rod without the **** on it or something like that put one end on the supercharger and your tumb on the other end and the put ur thumb in ur ear. You may look like a retard but you can hear the blades, the air and everything. GEt some one to rev it up while you listen. Just see if the sound is from there.

Same problem with mine when it was stock. Nobody could tell me where the noise was coming from.

Turned out to be the gasket between the header and downpipe.....warranty fix

Yeah, the higher the boost, the louder it was. Very obvious that it was a leak.

We have a cast manifold stock, I HIGHLY HIGHLY doubt there could be a hole in the manifold. I would think that a gasket, the flexpipe, or even your cat could be the culprit here.

Just my .02, but There is literally no way in hell that you have a hole in the manifold itself

Thank The Lord!! I have been having the same problem when i hit boost! I hit a huge bump and i feel like it shifted something with the exhaust loose, ill fix all my gaskets and see if it fixes it, i really hope its not the supercharger!
