Strange noise from engine

I noticed it a while ago, but I haven't been able to figure this one out. I have a strange sound that is comming from the center or near right of the engine. Kind of sounds like a piece of paper in a fan going "tack tack tack". It doesn't come and go, it a non stop type sound. I can't really tell exactly whats causing it, but I can't find any lose connections or screws, or anything that might cause it. Someone said they thought it was comming from bottom of the TB, but im not 100% sure.

Any ideas?

Ive tried that, but its not a very loud sound. The engine being rev drowns it out.

Does the noise always stay at the same rate or does it change with throttle?

I sounds like the noise stays at a constant rate. It doesn't come and go, its always there and has a certain pattern. It doesn't get lounder on its own, or skip around, its just a contant, tack tack tack tack.
Very similar to a playing card in a spoke, though the sound is different.

I will try again to see if I can hear anything when throttle is given.

Could it actually be something caught in the radiator fan? A tree leaf? A loose hose? Did you check it at all?

Flex pipe on your downpipe might be leaking. Mine made a noticeable noise until the flex actually cracked completely.

valves ticking? fuel rail? SC rotors ticking? On some SC's over time I've heard people say they can rub on eachother.

I didn't notice any leaks under the car. I just went and checked again, and I was wrong, its not a constant thing, it is rather erradic. Its also something that started a few months ago.

When I had the SC out a while ago, I had had turned it and I didn't really notice anything, but I obviously can't turn it was quick as the engine.
