Striped coolent bolt.

So I was doing a injector swap today and I took the coolent over flow bolt and line out. Got the injectors in and bolted down. Go to put the coolent line in and I get it started with about 8 turns so I'm like ok it's started by finger do I start to wrench it down. Nope it strips when I go to tighten it all the way down. Now there's a coolent leak because the bolt isn't holding down the line. The bolt strips out when in 7/8 of the way in. So I grabbed a brass nipple and Teflon tape and threaded it in the the hole in the head. Seems to be holing and over flow is sealed. Anyone have a better idea how to go about fixing it with our taking the head off. I was so mad, because that bolt was threaded half way in with my fingers with no force or cross thread.

^ yep. the teflon tape will probably eventually just burn up from the high coolant tempurature.
