stripped bolt head

stripped bolt head

The other day I was trying to back the bolts out of the s/c pulley and I Stripped the head on it..how would you all suggest getting it out?

I would suggest drilling where its stripped.. When you get to the shaft. The bolt head will come off and allow you to remove the supercharger.. Then remove the shaft of the bolt with vise grips... after you remove the supercharger that is.

why would I have to remove the supercharger whenever i have the quick change hub?

go to sears and get a bolt out set, it comes in handy.

because i'm a retard and don't read posts all the way sorry.. i thought you were doing something with the actual supercharger.. not the pulley.. so listen to these other guys and get the easy out set.. or you could still drill it out and use a punch to tap out the bolt if you don't wanna spend any money.

If there is no loc-tite...I would use a LH drill and an easy out if needed.
