yes unless you know what you need to do properly to stroke it dont do it yourself. ZZP you might pay but you'll wish you had

Oh ok i know that the le5 crank is cast iron and the lsj is forged...big difference in strength there..i build engines for a living..i have access to all the tooling to make it work i was wondering if any one has done it out side of zzp..i just can't justify spending that much money on a engine Wen i could do it for 1/2 the cost of less..i can
get a brand new le5 crank for 320 shipped to my front door.
I have another thought to combine the zzp 2.1 lsj block with the 2.4 crank...should come out to be a 2.5 lsj. Any thoughts about that

lsj-86mm bore, 86mm stroke
l61-86mm bore, 94.6mm stroke
le5-88mm bore, 98mm stroke

le5 crank in lsj or l61 gives a 2.3l, lsj or l61 crank in le5 block is 2.1l. those are the only combos you can build with stock blocks/cranks. you cant get a 2.5l, at least not without boring the block or a custom crank.
