Broken mine 3 times now. I used a tension pin. I got it from the hardware store. They seem to be ok.

70,000 miles and I drive like a nut when at the track or a private street race. This has never broke on me. Remember, let the clutch engage BEFORE shifting

I got a heavy duty roll pin from my buddy who works for a C balt race team and I hacked the rediculous weight off...and now im problem free. He told me the issue is that on some cars the hole wasnt drilled properly(not sure how it only happens to some) so as you put a new pin in its actually bending it so its weakened off the bat.

Something must be wrong with your car.

When I first had my SS/SC the shifter needed adjustment so I hit the stop several times trying to get into third. And I hit that bastard hard too, I nver had one issue with pins.

Anyone come up with more information on a fix for this? Mine was sliding out today and we tapped it back in, but it just came right back out. What size have people been drilling this out to and are you going through the wheel well to drill or taking out the fuse box and coming from above?
