why do you need 80s for a 2.9? or are you planning on going big with a TVS later?

Regap your plugs to .030-.032 and see if that makes a difference.

There is more power to be made in the tune. I thought it was more on the conservative side!

I thought eric said there was a very negligible difference on E for power off the AFR opposed to regular fuel?
That the same dyno you go on E?

It looks like your AEM reads correctly when it is not sharing the signal with HPT.

I found very little difference in the HP/TQ so there is probably not much to be made up there.

The reason the car is running a little on the rich side is because of he AEM Uego Gauge was giving me different readings then the readings in HPTs. HPTs was telling me 11.5-11.8 and his gauge was telling displaying 12.1-12.3. Through the research I found that most people said that that gauge is correct and HPTs is wrong. So after I was done tuning I changed the commanded AFR in PE from 11.76 to 11.5 just to be on the safer side.

But it looks like the gauge is displaying correctly when not sharing the signal with HPTs.

No. I run on my local dynojet and this was a Mustang Dyno.

But after seeing these results I might need to make a trip to West Bend! jk

Aren't Mustang Dyno supposed to read lower?

I did think that Tyler's car pulled really hard for a 2.9". Esp in the mid to high RPMS.

I did make a comment to him that it felt like his car was faster then mine. But mine definitely has more TQ on the low end.

Tyler. Post your results in here.

https://www.cobaltss.net/forums/dyno-results-170/official-dyno-thread-194257/

That makes you #2 on the list.

I just posted my results in that thread. The itch for 300 has gone from "I have no chance" to "Get me on that dyno now!"

Do you you think that he could have the same results if he had regular gas + methanol injection (something like 90% meth and 10% water or 100% meth with a big nozzle) ??? Is there any other factors than the fact that he could push up the timing in order to make more power with the E85?

+

So with a 2.6 he would get over 300 whp!

Not to sure about getting the same results with 93 + meth. This car has more in it and I can see 300hp no problem with out using the 2.7 that I have for it. If you watch my wideband in the video you can see that it is running between 11.3 and 11.5 (at times dipping into the high 10's) so we could lean it out and possibly add a degree or two of timing. There is not too much room to go up in timing.
