Sunroof rattle?

Does anyone else get this? Sunroof is closed and when you go over bumps it makes noise. Like something is loose, but it isn't.

Normal. You can push up on it a little bit. It has some play. Not enough to worry about. Unless it pops open, then you might want to worry

Not even so much the switch, as the bezzle.

But my sunroof is all fucked up right now. Both brackets are broke, the bezzle fell out, and the switch came un-clipped. Dealerships gonna love me when I show up.

My sunroof doesnt rattle, but it makes a creaking noise. I found if you apply some rubber conditioner around the sunroof seal it goes away. I usually apply it everytime I clean the car, and only notice the creaking again after a few rain storms.

They are loose from the factory.

Next time you close your door with both windows up watch the sunroof. It gets pushed up for a split second.

My bezel already fell.. As well as the switch!! LOL!

I fixed both, they are like brand new, it's awesome.

That's exactly what it sounds like!! It's like a creaking, rubbery type noise!

Thanks man!

I noticed that too. Shut the door, and up it comes for a second.

Make sure to clean & wax the metal where the rubber seal meets up against as well

as much as i love my sunroof the ones in these cars are cheap imo they do make a vibrating sound... but if u notice in any gm car or truck that it slides into the car instead of popping up it doesnt make any noise. its just poor design

I agree that the sunroof makes annoying noises sometimes, and I wish I ordered mine w/o a sunroof at times.

but .... On nice days its great having the windows down and the sunroof open

Don't even.. Ugh, windows down, sunroof open.. And right now it's like 55°F, windy, and rainy outside.

I miss warm already.
