supercharger knock please help

ok so heres the story, i recently installed an intense stage 4 with only a 2.9 until i get he/meth. ok so first issue i came across was the leaking of supercharger oil which i didnt think was a big deal cause i put to much back in and it stopped quickly, second issue was it just wasnt running right no matter what i gapped my plugs at so i replaced them with irridiums and that problem was solved, however heres my issue, as soon as i started it there was a loud knocking sound which i just prayed would go away after i did the case learn, but no such luck what could it be anyone, one more thing it was pullin good at first with decent boost but it suddenly slowed down a little on me and is only hiting 12 flat????????

your car might be going into limp mode were it starts cutting boost. mine did the same thing. i just did the boost bypass mod and i got full boost back. the knocking noise might be your supercharger. the needle bearings in the case shattered in mine. the rotors got all smashed up and the case was severly scored. i had mine rebuilt but there was so much damage done that i ended up just buying a new supercharger cuz the rebuilt one was down 3lb of boost. the knocking cud be something else but thats what it was fo me. hope i helped

+3 why?

What's the fascination with disabling or messing with the bypass valve (or anything connected to it)?

if you have hpt, you can get around this, and make it work in your favor.
