Supercharger Knocking

me and a couple of my buddys were listenin to my car and it has a slight knock on the nose of the SC maybe a bad bearing if it is a bearing how much am i lookin to spend to get that fixed? can't be cheap im assuming and im losing about maybe 1 to 2 pounds of boost depending how i drive it

sounds like there's rocks in the supercharger? its the coupler.. i think mine is bad too but it doesnt really hurt anything i dont think... bump for more info

See if there is any play in the pulley. If there is take it apart and cross your fingers that everything inside isn't getting chewed up inside.

yeah we thought it was the pulley but i think its something else..im lookin at ZZP's site they have eaton blower rebuild parts im guessing if it is my coupler i should take that route? and does the coupler affect ur boost at all? im still getting the same psi just seems like its lagging to get there

If you want you can take off the supercharger and touch the rotors. If the rotors have oil on them it is the beginning of something bad and will need new seals and bearings.
