Supercharger Pulley too...

Just curious where you guys get the tool for the removal of the supercharger.......we have a press here at the dealership, just curious what the easiest way to get the pulley off and back on again is....thanks.

You can rent them from dealerships, or shops that do pulleys, only way to do it is take off the blower, theres no pulley puller small enough to do it with the blower on, becuase of the bottom piece of the hood is blocking it.

I use a "Bearing Plate", you know the kind that clamps around an axle bearing to press off. I found one in the parts bin that fit perfect and used a socket to press on the shaft. Worked great, presses off easy. To install I had an old power steering pulley installer that I rethread to fit the shaft of the S/C. As a matter of fact, there was a thread awhile ago, that showed step by step installation of a STG2 kit.

awesome, I'm in Boca Raton Florida way down south.....

I beleive I can scrounge up a bearing plate at work somewhere......the J-tools are our dealership have a bad habit of walking off though lol....thanks for the replies
