Swap 2006 lsj motor into 2006 ss 2.4 shell? Is the wiring the same?

Just curious as to what wires I'd have to add or replace to swap my lsj motor into another 2006 ss shell. Currently has a 2.4 n/a motor is it doable? I have the lsj motor ecm engine harness transmission and cv axles and such. Is that all I need?

No it’s not the same. You will need the engine harness and the interior harness. Basically you’ll need an entire lsj donor car.

Yeah you can do it. I know a guy local to me that had a 05 ss/sc and the body rotted out but the engine and tranny and assorted parts were still good and did a complete swap into a 07 Cobalt Lt Sedan. However it took him about a year to do it all on his own. Basically its not easy but can be done. Now myself I'm doing a supercharger swap to my 07 Pontiac G5 GT. Have you considered just swapping over the blower and the assorted parts needed to do that instead? It will be easier and your car will be done much faster and be quicker than a stock ss/sc cobalt.

The lsj is better than the 2.4 in stock form. Why would you downgrade engines?
