Swapping out the LSJ for another LSJ - help?

Hey guys,

a friend of mine blew up his old motor. I dont know the details of it but my guess is he added some aftermarket parts (intake,etc...) and did not tune for the car. Seems he melted a piston.

He just picked up a LSJ motor with supercharger for about $1325 and it has 26k miles on it. He wants my help to swap it out. The thing is I have 0 experience with this kinda work. Im a fast learner and can figure this stuff out but I figured I tried to get some consultation from the LSJ experts.

1.) What is the easiest way to pull the old motor? Drop the sub-frame? or lift it out>?

2.) Are there things I need to replace? Motor mounts? Tranny mount?

3.) Are there things we should do to the new motor now that can be difficult to work with later? (belts? pulleys?, etc)

4.) Should we change all the fluids, tranny fluid, oil (obvious), coolant?

5.) Are there superficial things I should check for for the condition of this new motor?

And finally, Does anyone know of a great how to for swapping the engine? lol.
