Switching pcms

I was wondering if gm can tell if i switch out my pcm. I have the gm stage 2 but i wanted a little more power while still maintaining my warranty. I was thinking that i will buy another pcm get it tuned and then switch back if i have any problems. Would they have anyway of noticing this?

If you have the stock stage II tune on one pcm, that was never tuned, and then have a completely separate pcm with a modded tune, and interchange them for dealer issues, I don't think you'll have a problem.

nope, you would need to do a crankcase relearn on the PCM which is a dealer only thing since they need to do it with a tech 2 scanner and $50 so they will know you changed the pcm anyway
