Testing Intercooler Pump

Last week I installed my ZZP S3 heat exchanger when I first put it on after around 2-3 pulls my IAT2's would run around 140F. After a recent tune my car after a quick 2-3 pull it will hit 160 before I let off. Thats really high

I'm starting to think that my IC pump busted. What is the best way to test this?

way to do it is if you have hp tuners and use it to turn the ic pump on, if you do not you will need to turn the car on, let is sit for a little while, the test light will only show voltage getting tothe pump, another way you can see is pinch off the hose where you fill the coolant for the ic pump and the coolant system for the supercharger. you should feel flow, if nott hen check and make sure that a fuse is not blown and yadda yadday yadda.

take it easy. james

Yeah there is that to forgot..... I had air in my system for about 3 days, it burps it self, i let it run with my hp tuners for about 3 hours off and on, and refill, and let set, let the system build pressure and pinch hoses, and so forth, and so far my iat 2s only reach around 110 at wide ope throttle getting on it good, i have the s 3

I have been monitoring the coolant level and have had to top it off a few times. It only needs like 2 ounces at a time. I can see the fluid but it doesn't go to the top(below the bleeder) of the filler neck. I guess it could be air pockets but those IAT's seem really high.

When I do top it off, should I do so with the car on or off?

You should do so witht he car on, and make sure you squeeze the coolant hoses a little. AND ALSO THERE IS A BLEEDED BOLT OMN THE OLD HEAT EXCHANGER, LOOSEN IT UP AND YOULL SEE SOME AIR BUBBLES.
