Its cool and all ZZP made the most hp...
But they basically have a playhouse for a job...
Some people actually go to a non shop job, and have a family to take care of, hell.. some people gotta eat for themselves...
Its just rude to take the grand stand when you have so much more available tools and time.. There should be a respectful line.. if you wanna take the top dog spot among venders... then thats cool.. because its obvious you do run faster than most of the shops on this site..
But show the people who do the work in their own driveway, like i did.. and many others... type of respect...

I believe ZZP has produced the most power on this forum short of the drag cars. Not that it really matters, but now that we have a shop producing parts, R&D, and building cars, because they may have a little more expendable income means they are ********??? For coming on here and stating the truth in regards to alot of bs flying around??

From my understanding if you drill tap and use the fitting like you stated, if it doesnt work out you can thread in some plugs and voila, back to stock after changing over your cores again.

ZZP have not produced the most power of all time on an ecotec, but lets leave it that they sure do produce a lot for what in real life is only a few seconds. Thats all they need to prove what they want, and however they do it, Zoomer being a jackass insulting posters and customers is the issue.
On the street you cant use 500 whp for long. Maybe 20 seconds at the most before you get arrested. On the drag strip, you only need it for 11 seconds. On the road race track at wot for a minute 20 or so a lap an ecotec wont last long at those horsepower levels.
How is my understanding wrong??? Explain that. I re-iterated the OP's idea and laid it out simple, if it doesnt work you can block off the fittings and run your intake the way it came.

There will always be a said limit, and there will always be someone that can find away to break that limit. will it last forever? NO NOTHING DOES, will it hold up long enough to prove something? YES
I must be mistaken but I am on ZZPs site quite frequently and I have yet to see a dyno sheet showing that any of their cars have surpassed the 500whp mark. and even if they did I wouldnt believe it after watching an unmolested version of their stg 2 tune run on a car that was in perfect running condition and the near 250whp that they advertised looked more like 200whp on the dyno pulls that were done at a very reputable shop (I have pictures and videos). The tuner at the shop even made the remark that the car could get to the 250 mark easily but not on the ZZP tune.
I am not here looking for a handout, I dont want someone to give me all the answers, in fact I prefer to figure a lot of things out on my own, I like doing my own research, making lil tweaks here and there to see if it makes sumthing better or worse, but when I dont have an answer or cant figure something out or dont want to make a costly mistake, I turn to someone who has more experience, more knowledge, and can produce the proper results without costing an arm and leg in repairs for something that wasnt done correctly. I know that it has been said that they clues are all in the posts, I guess I just dont know enough about these air to water intercoolers to pick up those clues. So all I could ask for in the matter is a little guidance.

He made less than 450, claimed he was making more but hadn't dyno'd it, then blew up. ZZP has dyno'd 465WHP on the first TC car done and Ryan's car makes 48x WHP. No excuses, no talk about airflow and how it felt and who we raced and what it would be. An actual dyno. If we're just going to paper race then I claim 2000 WHP and no one can prove me wrong.

It needs to have the variables of HE removed by fixing the IC coolant temps. Then measured as a % of efficiency of core for stock, dual pass, single pass and maybe something custom. We have tested in a completely different application, this style of core vs. an ebay one vs. spearco. We got 95% spearco, 90% ebay, and 60%? for laminova. Hopefully the LSJ laminova design is better than what we tested.

Just because the dyno hasn't been posted on here doesn't mean he hasn't achieved over 500whp.
