i do not tend to believe any blogs i read. period. going off their 310 hp idea is a shot in the dark. people have gone over this, and people have barfed bone stock cars.
And if you read the link to their Injector calculation tool, they specify 58lbs/hr@43.5psi. People also barfed stock motors running smaller pulleys and 60lb injectors.
I'm not trying to argue with you guys, just providing info to your topic. I have never seen anywhere proof the stage injs. are 42lbs, only that article from someone that has indepth knowledge of GMs Stage Kits and they are stating the injectors are 58lbs. So take the info as you wish and keep wondering how much HP you can get from the "42s".

why we know this number is simple. the hp tables for the injector calcs lead us in this direction.

a guy that i know, bone stock ss/sc, no stage mods, or anything. barfed it. check out the blown engine thread.

that injector table is a direct copy off the rc engineering site.

with the power i have put down, i have pretty well blown the "240 hp" theory wide open. every stg2+ car here in kc is over 240 whp. all on 42's

so what are ideal injectors for 250hp with about 10psi?

if you want a 250 whp ss/sc 42's are fine. if you want to go above this. get water injection, or bigger injectors. with the power i put out last night. my injectors are done. time to go bigger

over 270, not even close to leaning on it really effin hard

if i had race gas, i could have stuck it to the wood and probably squeezed 280 out of it.
