Thinking about converting 07 SS SC to turbo

I was wondering what would be a good turbo conversion kit for the 300-400 hp range of a DD. Also what are the + and - for switching from what i have.
Most important thing is safety and longevitiy of the motor.
I was possibly looking into a hahn kit.
Also what supporting mods? I know i need gauges, most likely a upgraded clutch, and 3" catback exhaust...

ANY HELP/INPUT/OPINIONS APPRECIATED! Thanks a ton!

The best advice i can give you is research research research... I jumped into it head first with the hahn kit... What a huge waste of money it was in the end. ut thats just imo

IMO, if you're going over 300HP (with the hahn kit) I'd play it safe and upgrade several things.

Axels (because the stock ones are not that powerful)
3in Exhaust
DP with high flow cat or catless
Get your Interceptor
Get a good clutch (rated for 300+HP)
Upgrade your mounts

And etc...

I did the Hahn stage V kit, love it. no problems yet and expect to go to 22 psi stock internals but need to get a clutch. Its chunck of change but its for quality product and for their credibility.

Ya thanks. I"m lookin around alot. I'm possibly going to go with hahn level 5 and keep the boost low and safe. I wish I wouldn't of just jumped into my stage kit but anyways I'm forcing my self to do all the supporting mods first lol but i'm gonna think alot about it. But thanks for the info keep it comin.

if you go with a hahn kit on low boost your car will make a slightly higher peak hp but it will be no faster than a "bolt on" car if your talking 1/4 times.

the power band is well not the prettiest... that turbo doesent full spool till 3500+

the only way it will be faster is if you run 18+psi i ran 23psi and ran 25psi for a little bit but traction was completely gone when the boost hit.

and then it just spun instead of accelerating. the way the boost came in on my S256 was way better and more controllable. and the spool times were the same as the old ass 20G

Op I was thinking of doing the same with my 07. I hear the ZZP turbo kit is pretty nice even though it isn't the "prettiest" of course if you want numbers over looks for a DD I'd research that and talk to people that have used/use that swap kit.

Your thinking of ZZP's twincharge kit. That is something completely different.
