Well, I think than I will wait to see how much boost I run and if I like the way my stock boost gauge looks by maxing out, I'll keep it, if not I really like that Autometer carbon fiber one above. Thanks for the suggestions. Blown-4-banger, it def. sounds like you had a lot of fun getting all the parts installed man. I ordered all parts on Tues. night and they are all scheduled to arrive tomorrow. I just can't get tuned until next Saturday . That should give me plenty of time to get everything installed tho. Quick question for anyone, how many miles/time do you think it would be ok to drive with the 2.6" and stuff before getting tuned? The tune shop is about 35 miles away, would I be safe to drive my car there with the 2.6" on or is that too risky?

Oh, man don't remind me! When I drive it my foot shakes because it just wants to mash the gas, and even in its untuned state it slams me back in the seat like someones pushing on my chest! But because of its untuned state I'm scared pushing a lot of boost through it at high rpm might result in engine failure, so I have to keep my right foot in check at least until I get retuned When I say untuned I mean its like a guestimate, we tuned it so that it would be able to run and drive with the current modifications, NOT to race or push the engine in anyway.

How else would I get tuned? HP Tuners is the only way to tune our cars other than a
MAF-T but thats not nearly as precise as HP Tuners.

Thats what I meant as another option. Hope everything works out great. Let us know how it turns out, or I let you know how mine turns out depending on who gets tuned first.

I will definatly have fun! I'm sure traction out of the corners will be a problem but I'll get around it.

Yeah Blown 4-banger's pulley swap was a nightmare.

As for the gauge, I would suggest you order the LED kit for it to make it brighter. I didn't get it and it is a little difficult to see at night with the street lights. I have mine with the red sleeve over the regular bulb. It looks really good, minus the low light thing.

If I do decide to replace mine, the one you have will be the one I get, nicest one I've seen.

Yeah it looks really good as the sun light hits it. I love the look of CF.

Autometer has a ton to choose from. Check them out. http://www.autometer.com/cat_gaugeseries.aspx Just select the style you like and then mechanical and 2-1/16"
