Where could you actually purchase an LS4 tb? I always read about them and their comparisons but never looked for prices. I have an 05 ss s/c

^^ Yes if you don't port the blower inlet, and just use a spacer, you are still restricting the intake and not getting the full gains of the mod. The spacer might be bigger, but the air will hit a 3/8" lip on the bottom of the inlet of the SC, negating some of the gains. An air die grinder and a dremel go a long way...

nvm found it on said website... 156 and change. Not too bad. Sure I could find one better at a junkyard.

I would say buy used, much cheaper. It came on a lot of different applcations. Check the thread I posted above for a lot of info on it including a list of possible applications to aquire it from...
