Throttle Problems??

Ok, when I do a WOT run in like 2nd or 3rd gear(all the way to redline) right after the car seems to fall flat on it's face.....like you tap the gas and it's very late in it's response, which makes it a PITA to shift gears smoothly, and to take off. Im trying to figure out what is going on there, because I turn the car off and then right back on and it's fine. Is it something in the PCM, or the tune possibly?? Any feedback would be great.....

please delete this thread....double posted sorry

Limp mode most likely, why are you taking it all the way to redline where it cuts boost?

Mine does that, too. After I get on it for a while, it will start doing that and it will not go away. But as soon as I restart the car it goes away. Posted on it a while back but got no real answers.

Oh yea, I have GM stage two, air box mod, and GMPP catback.

It's on a GM stage 2 tune....I shift at around 6800 rpm anyway.....so it's not like im actually "hitting" redline. Although Im not sure if a lighter flywheel may throw off rpms.....who knows, I'd just like to try to figure out WTF if going on with it.

Mine does it sometimes, also, and although it doesn't throw a CEL, if I scan for codes with my Aeroforce, it will usually show either a P0171 (lean) or P0300 (misfire). If you don't have a scan tool or Aeroforce gauge, next time that happens, stop by an Advance Auto Parts store and have them scan for codes, it just might not be triggering the light. On a side note, since I replaced the fuel filter last weekend I haven't shown anymore codes after "spririted" driving (fingers crossed).

Chris are you still having the same problem? What about your spark plugs? u think they blow out in the upper rpms? and it definitely would not be limp mode. You would know it!!!! my car went into limp mode once and it felt like it ran on 1 cylinder and the car did 0-60 in like 10 minutes. I had to drive it to the dealer like that. Come to find out the throttle position sensor came loose
