Its annoying how jumpy it is! I always think people on the sidewalks are laughing at my surging car as I pass by. Has anyone experimented with heavier springs in the pedal?

Yea the reflash actually helps a lot. I think it has someting to do with the injectors too. Because i noticed a differnce as soon as i popped in the bigger injectors and drove to the dealer to get the flash. It's like a completely differnt car after the flash.

Some skilled clutch work can smooth this out, but I agree. The new flash is the way to go.

A custom tune works with your stock OS, the stage tune is an entire new OS.

by stage tune you are talking about the stage 2 kit? or either of the stage kits. Also, if I uy the GM stage 2 kit for now, can HP Tuners tune that OS or would I be SOL? (like if i get the stage kit would i be unable to tune the car at a later date for a custom tune?)

theres not really any way to adjust the pedal. the throttle is control electronicly. you can have the pcm reprogramed with the latest updateand it will probably fix it. you dont have to program it with the stage 2 reflash. theres one availible for non modded cars as well

well... great thread... so... looks like a tune is the only way??

Is there any worth in getting tuned if you're running stock boost like me?

I'm really tired of the car surging like mad when I go through the horrible bumpy intersections here in Charlotte. You hit a bump... your foot moves a bit on the gas pedal... makes the car jump... which makes your foot move worse... etc.

The only way I've "fixed" it is by just letting off or shifting to 2nd when it starts happening.
