You won't see more then 2hp per degree of timing you run generally. And yes tuning from 05-07 is the same, there all lsj's.

From what i understand u buy hptuners....think its like $400 for no the non pro version? And u have to buy credits to be able to tune a car...thnik cobalts take 2 credits? Once u buy those credits for the car then thats it...u can tune as much as you want. But if u wanted to tune another car u need to buy 2 more credits.

They are different, and some have different tables.

07 is a 32bit OS while the 05-06 is 16bit.

Right but the way you go about tuning them is the same. Tuning all of the lsj's is about the same, tuning lnf's is a lot different, in my opinion at least.

IMO, LNF is a cake walk. Stock wb ftw. Of course, there is more to be desired by the tables avail from HPT currently.

they are to a degree. then you get into the maf scaling side of it and all hell breaks loose. then some fucked up table in the background says "**** you" and ruins the fun

Whats the most timing anyone is running? im at 24* right now...getting retuned tomorrow to adjust the afr for my header/dp/exhaust but im also going to bump it up to 25 or 26* of timing. So im just curious...and i know the lsj like to make power past 25 so dont tell me that.

you won't run the afr lean enough to make use of anything past 25.5 degree's of total timing. so if you want to run 27 degree's. be my guest. your rod bearings will hate you later

its more about timming against afr... you can run a ton of timming if you have a low afr, if you start to lean it out you see heat, knock and have to run less timming... to way to get good numbers is to run the strongest afr with the most timming (up to 25.5*) with no knock, and no heat...

i think im getting this a bit more each day... if im wrong please tell me cause i dont wanna be that wrong

I wonder if his location has anything to do with his unusual timing
