Ok, so I'm about ready to remove the head, and I need to loosen the timing chain tensioner. I have the right wrench, but I cannot break the **** free. The space is tight back there as well. Anyone have an idea? Please help if you have a clue!

 

if its nething like my Z24 theres a C clip holding down the tensioner

 

I got it. There wasn't a clip, I just had to put some A$$ into it. Everything is unbolted now. All I have to do is pry the head up and check it out. That'll have to wait until tomorrow though because it's going to be a good show down tonight at the races.

 

Its nothing like the 96-01 2.4 cav. I had an 01 and OMG was it horrible. The Ecotec is MUCH easier.
