tire fitment issues?? 255/50/16

like title says... im looking into getting a dot slick and im wondering if i would have a problem with the hoosier 255/50/16 tires

ill prolly be runnin them on a hhr steel wheel

they will rub, black ss/sc has them. I believe he had to modify something with his strut to make it fit. Look into the hooiser q.t.p. or a hooiser drag radial

I had to grind the swaybar mount a bit on the strut, and then they fix ok but I can barley get a piece of paper between the sidewall and strut. Since then I installed longer wheel studs and just use 1/3" spacers on them at the track.

yea i was looking at the hoosiers and was just wondering if it was gonna be the 225s or the 255s that i was gonna look into getting

looks perfect to me... because its a little wider than the qtp slick and not as tall so i wont have to worry about the rubbing issue
