When I rotate mine, I take the front straight back and cross the rear ones when I bring them forward. Dad is a mechanic, he always told me to do it that way.

check your manual.

It's in a modified X.

Depends, do you have directional tires or not? If you have directional tires it's front-to-back and back-to-front. I did this with my Pirellis as well.

that would be the correct way to rotate tires... unless they are directional of course

You are correct about the stock rubber. Some people are not running stock rubber however, like myself, so I wanted to put it out there just in case.

i only like to rotate front to back and back to front. no crossing. the belts sometimes develope a feel for going in one direction and when you reverse it, its possible to slip a belt or develop a bubble. just my .02 my father and uncle own a shop and thats how they have always told me to do it when i help out at the garage. also i went to lincoln tech and the steering and suspension teacher said to go the same way i said ..so
