I hope all of you realize that the transmission calculator is based on the perfect conditions of no air resistance and no friction. It is a theoretical calculation only, and not necessarily a truth.

Um, what in the **** are you talking about??? I hope you know that air resistance and friction have absolutely NOTHING to do with gear ratios. With a 100mph tail wind, my car will still be going 100mph at 6500rpms in 3rd gear. With a 100mph head wind it would be the same thing. The amount of throttle applied would change, but that has nothing to do with this thread.

seriously guy, some one do the calculations to determine the max speed at fuel cutoff for each gear.
