i hit 137mp/h in 4th gear on the dyno and it had lots left in it. i think stock limiter is 230km/h wich is 142.x mp/h however that limiter is gone for me lol

My limiter is removed too, but isnt 120 in 4th the stock redline of 6500?

yeah 120 MPH is the stock redline in 4th. So 120+ you're in fifth gear. Mine still pulls in 5th, just stops dead at 140..

My buddy got his 05 Balt up to 250 kph and his is stock.

Then you guys don't have the stock rev limiter. Stock rev limiter is directly at redline(6500 RPM).

Mine hits the rev limiter right at 6500, but still does more that 120 in 4th.

Idk, maybe I'll try it later, but I doubt I'll bother trying to kill myself.

get a tune, make your rev go to 8k and speed limiter to 318 or wut ever it is in hptuners and your done, now if you cant get to your speed you want its your fault. lmao

^ Do the speedometers of these cobalts not register the speed accurately or something? Every single time Ive gone from a dig or a 40 I always shifted into third a hair after 60, nowhere near 69. Just wondering if the rate of which the speedometer has to move has anything to do with this? My car was bone stock so I didnt think the speedometer could NOT keep up with the acceleration of the car ya know?

what rpm did you shift out of 4th? 7k in 4th into 5th gear puts you at 3600rpm which may not be within your powerband yet
