Torque Brace Q's!

For those who use the Torque brace(s), is there a noticeable amount of interior rattling using them? How do they compare to the motor mount and tranny mount some companies offer?

The torque brace adds more vibe than the motor mount but much less than the transmission mount. I would not recommend using all three at the same time, mostly because it is unneeded. After i installed the transmission mount i removed the torque brace to see if it would drop the vibes some and it did. Also with just the 2 mounts and warm ground and tires i was not able to hop the wheels just spin them so i haven't even put the torque brace back on yet.

If you have the new GM finned (4 ridges) motor mounts don't get a brace because they are all buggy and will vibrate especially when turning left.

What about these JBP poly urethane control arm bushings ? Wouldn't these be the single one best item to start with to eliminate wheel hop ? On their web sight it only mentions wheel hop elimination under the bushing description, not the trany or motor mount.

I know that before I totally refabbed my brackets for my brace it rattled like crazy. It was hitting my motor mount in two spots. To see how I fixed it look at my thread call Torque brace issue solved. It is also posted on .com

My torque brace never virbated when turning just mostly at idel when you could def feel the engine trying to depress the brace. Also out of the 2 ZZP mounts and brace the single best is the transmission mount, however it also gives the worst vibes.

I have the dual TQB's and i get a little interior noise but its not that bad at all. i would see absolutely no need with transmission mounts b/c the dual TQB (IMO) tightens that up enough that i dont feel any play unlike stock, where i would miss thrid on the track and with the dual TQB i have never missed third

To be honest, I don't notice any additional noise, and maybe some slight slight slight vibes in the steering wheel.

Thanks everyone for the responses, I think I'm going to go with the control arm bushings.

i have jbp contorl arm bushings and the passenger side engine mount. excellent fit and no more wheel hop. none. You need the controla rm bushings to eliminate the control arm from moving.
