Torque management?
Someone correct me if I am wrong, but i believe it reduces the amount a torque your car is producing during gear shifts. Removing so, eliminates the feature and allows for more powerful shifts. GM put this in place to protect your transmission, if removed operate responsibly and you shouldn't have issues.
Kyle, I am looking at the OTT stg.3 kit and have been doing a little researching on the torque management and if you are looking for more powerful and smooth shifts then take it off. If you are looking for reliability, the car is a DD, and if you are a little inexperienced.... then leave it on. Don't forget you can always get it turned off later by hptuners or even OTT.... really it is your choice! I personally am going to leave it on when I order the kit BECAUSE I don't particularly want to drop my tranny haha, but may consider having it turned off after I get use to the TVS, 80's and their tune!
