Tranny Question

what do the top 2 bolts that hold the transmission to the block suppose to look like, gm shorted me one and the other bolt doesn't match anything on the car.

The hole on the right didn't have a bolt and the one on the left had the bolt in the above pic

The other one is just a regular bolt. Its the same threads and everything as that funny looking one you have in your hand. If i remember correctly the regular one goes on the left and either a wiring loom or hydraulic hose clips onto the front side of the other bolt.

if you get under the car, there's 100 spots where it looks like bolts SHOULD be.... because the tranny goes in more than one car. That being said, I would make sure that a bolt is actually supposed to go there before you start screwing one in and **** something up.
