just got my cobalt ss/sc a few weeks ago. already stage 2 but has no CAI. been driving it hard not gunna lie but when i push it through third and its breaking 90 to 100 it starts knocking or something and my transmission light comes on. is this a clutch problem or is a whole new tranny a potential problem??

Before anyone else hammers u, it's transmission. Might wanna change that.

 

transmission. and theres a trans light? im not sure about that. what do u mean by knocking?

 

yeah i spelled it wrong. oh well. it feels like the transmission is slipping off. the engine sounds and feels fine.

 

yeah its on my dash next to all my other indicators. if its a clutch problem its probably an easy fix hopefully but not too sure

 

Take it back to the dealer and see?

 

i will. dealers charge 150 an hour or more for everything so i wanna have an idea of what i need before i take it in.
