Transmission question. Need help asap.

Im getting a non gm stage 2 installed on sunday so im just trying to make sure everything is alright with my car before I void the warranty. I'll try to describe the sound that is concerning me as best as possible. While at low speeds like in first gear or in reverse, when i apply pressure to the clutch quickly there is like this rather loud click that you can hear if the windows are open. It only clicks once when I put the clutch in. So for instance if im in first and i apply a moderate amount of throttle up to lets say 3k and than put the clutch in you will hear this click from the outside of the car. There is 14k on the car and i have been hearing this for a few thousand miles now. Anyone know what this CLICK is? Its not ridiculously loud but its not quite either. It's noticeable.

EDIT: IT also does it if you are accelerating quickly and let go of the gas and it feels like the engine or somthing shifts back forward and you hear the same exact sound as i was describing above. It may not even be the clutch making the sound it happens when engine goes shifts back to normal after accelerating.

I have an appoinment for a stage 2 install sunday. So you guys think i should just do the smart thing and make sure its fine by taking it to chevy and reschedule the stage 2 appointment or just procrastinate and say its normal.

I'm thinking this is normal...I have a brand spanking new stock SS and it does it. Its probably just the linkage. My ms3 did this as well.

I'm pretty sure there is a switch under the clutch pedal inside the car. I hear a distinct clicking noise coming from my clutch pedal whenever I push it all the way down, or let it come up from the floor.

Do you hear this click if you engage/disengage the clutch with the car off??

The sound is from the outside of the car. The switch your talking about is the pressure switch that has to be engaged in order to start your car. Thats not what im hearing.
