Tricking dealer into installing 2.8 pulley

Okay, so this may sound

BUT, I was thinking I could swap out the 3.0 pulley in my just arrived Stage 2 kit for the GM spec Pulley Boy's 2.8 pulley

The tech would probably never know the difference!

I am sure if you put the parts in a box, hand it to the tech with a $20 bill and thank him in advance for taking care of your car you won't have a problem.

I had my 2.8, injectors and belt installed by a friend and then went and got the flash done at a Pontiac dealer and they were all standing around gawking (they don't work on Cobalts so everyone flocked all over it) and one of the part guys said they were commenting on the Intense pulley...they didn't care whatsoever.

Timing is everything! My stage 2 pulley for some reason started rusting and I complained to the dealer and they said they would have to order a whole new kit BLAH BLAH. That day the 2.8" came out and I ordered it. Talked to the dealer today and told them I found a pulley at another dealer and it will be here next week. They said "great we'll install it under warrenty" and I'll "send back " the other pulley to the other dealer

Your dealer will know about as much as your 12 year old sister will know about your cobalt.
