TTR Mounts + Ingals Torque Damp

Searched, couldn't find anything...

Will the TQ Dampener fit with the TTR mount, or will I have to dremel off a little bit of the mount? I tried fitting it (Note: I didn't take off any screws, just eye'd it) and it looks like it's going to have some clearence problems near the single screw towards the front of the car.. Input?

You shouldn't neet the Ingals with the solid mounts.

Well, the solid mounts aren't cutting it. I'm going to do some testing by putting my stock back on, and installing the ingals, doing some little test launches, then do the same thing with the motor mounts on. I still get some NASTY wheel hop with the solid mount.

Do you have tranny mounts also?

You really need both the tranny mounts and the upper TTR mount...

solid engine mounts are a step above the torque dampner... you don't need both... it won't do anything and it's just extra weight...

tranny mounts are definitely the key, engine mount helps keep the engine still and looks good, but i don't think it helps as much with wheel hop

yep. you just have to launch at a lower rpm, and slowly increase the throttle untill you can go wide open.

I've had numerous people try and launch my car, including my girlfriends dad who's been driving stick for 30+ years, it still hops. It's horrid at the tracks, but on streets it's not that bad at all...Even if I launch at a lower RPM, slowly hit the throttle, then go wot when I have traction, the thing still hops a little.

if you have traction, it won't hop. that's the downside to buying a fwd car. get all the traction mods you can if you want wheel hop to go away.

I have an 07G85 as well with TTR motor and trans mounts and 2.7" 60s full exhaust etc etc and i get no wheel hop so i highly doubt its the mounts or the car.
