I have the stage 2 and GM stage 2 flash.....I have the smaller pulley and and adding a high flow cat so what to get a proper tune.

I was talking to a guy out here who tunes with hp tuners and he figures i have to go back to the stage one GM tune in order for him to tune with HPT.... is that true?????

 

I dont think so. I am getting mine tuned this weekend and they never said anything about getting it flashed to stock.

 

I would appreciate it if you can let me know when you have had it tuned and what they say.

Pain in the butt to have to take it to a dealer to detune and then take it in.

 

Um, no. HPT can tune over whatever tune there is in the car, unless its an aftermarket, locked PCM. Stage 1/2 tunes are the same, and are readily tunable.

I am a little concerned about going to this guy for a tune now, but there is no-where else to go up here for a tune.....sucks big time!!!!

Any-one know anyplace even in seattle area that does tuning, I would be willing to go down there for it if there is some-one good.

 

yea the stage 1 and 2 tunes are the same..no difference
