The main thing to watch when buying your turbo, is the Turbine Housing A/R. The higher the number (ie .86 A/R), the more lag you'll have, but the more top end punch it will have. The lower the number (ie .55 A/R), the less lag you'll have, but the less top end punch it will have.

Yeah, its not too bad of a deal at all.

 

Yup that's why I chose the S252 Extended tip .55A/R for my set up

 

Thats what I'm rockin on my SS/TC.... at 12-14psi on it I made 312whp and 356wtq

So I am well on my way to 400whp and 400+wtq at my target 20-22psi

 

i love my Precision 5557 .60 a/r and .63 a/r dual bb. spools good

 

my buddy has a dsm gsx. any way he just threw on a Holset HX-40 60lb/min . he running a high 11.

Man I iam going to the gt3071r. But i see that the internally gated is a lot cheaper than the external wastegated. Can the internal gated be modified to be a external wastegate turbo?
