you dont count steven, you have seen shaun go through this lol.

but yes im surprised you nailed it, i figured everyone would of been quick to think rotating assy.

so not only did my **** break down... but the tow truck guy ripped my back bumper off and attempted to rip my intercooler off... What a jack ass this guy was.

i took pics of him in the process so they have no why to deny it.

yeah WTF 12psi? this is ******* silly im so pissed off, its like you probably thought when your **** happened. what do i do now, im not going all out sleeve and balance shaft, just for something else to blow...

im thinking of dropping the whole project and going back to my rootz... SBC on SPRAY low 10's all day...

so i think im gonna have a turbo kit up for sale along with a few other things... it had one of those pops out the exh at like 7000-7200 and i let up and i saw the idle was erratic so i dropped a gear and felt vibes, pulled over and heard Subaru so i turned it off and called AAA. no smoke no steam and a baby ******* crack, WTF it could of at least threw a rod or gernaded the block something cool to post at least.... im highly disappointed in my lsj.

Sorry to hear that happened. It's truely unfortunate. Well, I hope you end up happy with whatever you decide to do in the end.

Damn man. Truly stinks but it's time for these cars to go.

I had one of those pops when I was spraying an LNF. Got home and did a comp test asap. Everything turned out ok. Ended up doing another about 3 weeks ago and comp is still perfect

that was way too much timing man (think cylinder pressure). only reason my car was surviving on the stock motor was I kept it below 19 degrees under boost.
yours definitely went nicer than mine though. that's a baby crack lol

I know, i was on the waste gate and my timing map wasent dialed in for that low of boost so it was up in the .80 g/cyl and timing was still aggressive in that section. it was a huge mistake...

right when it happened i kinda thought about that, and i was nervous to look at the log thinking i was gonna see a **** load of knock...

i was so suprised to see NONE at all, afr did drop to 11.8 but it was at about 12.5 till 6000 rpm

i was maf tuning, for 12psi so i could run that for a little while. it made 1 pull and on the second it blew.

they would be ten times worse, without it. that carbon builds up cause your not always on the meth.

damn that sux chris, been there done that, just purchased a stock motor, dropping the boost to survivable amounts and gonna tone it down a bit. btw, do a google search for b207r and b207l motors in google shopping, there the same motor just the saab version with oil and coolant lines allready. and there usually about $600-1000 plus shipping, usually far less abuse as well.
