Turbo Swap ?'s

What stock parts from the supercharger can I sell and what parts do I need to keep. For the alternator i'm going to use a 2.2 alt and tensior.

sell everything, thats what im doing next week. sc,intake mani,exhaust mani, h/e, belt, d/p, torque damper and so on.

you really cant use anything. maybe the intake mani if you get the adapter elbow but i dont like that

u keep ur throttle body , injectors if the ones u have are gonna work wit ur set up and thats about it. sc u sell intake mani u sell, header and dp from sc set up u sell, u need to change the pulley tentioner take off the iddler pulley and get a 2.2 one. u can use yous stock alt if u get it welded if not get a 2.2 alt. also ur sc belt u sell and u need 2.2 alt bolts

ok thats what i wasnt sure about was the idler pulley. so i need a 2.2 one as well. alright thanks man if theres anything else let me know

some questions while i was taking things apart.
first do i need to remove the selonid that controls the stock supercharger bypass valve circled in green



also i was looking at the head and mounted up my intake manifold. it doesnt cover the hole in green and dont know what its for

the hoses of the silynoid or how ever u spell it unplug them and leave that there like that it wont be used

ok thanks. any idea what the port is on the cylinder head is for. does your intake manifold cover it up

ok well my vulcan manifold doesnt cover that or have a port for it so what do i do with it now

i got the hanh mani and it has a hole there and a hose goes from that to the front of hanh mani and its said to be the pcv valve

You can keep your Stock IM and your M62. ZZP makes a rotor delete plate for turbo charged LSJs. They don't have it listed on their site yet but I am sure they will sell you one if you contact them.

Then there is no need for a new IM, idler pulley, or adapter plate.

I guess I got into this thread 1 week too late! lol

Well a true turbo IM will work better then using the stock LSJ IM.

I think the ZZP is much easier and much cheaper.
