ive worked on a number of top alcohol dragsters and funny cars. the blowers we ran displaced between 422ci or 7l and 600ci, or 9.8l that was on top of a 452 ci engine or 7.5l. these were 2 different makes of blowers (the smaller being a PSI b or d blower, bigger being a whipple a908). the whipple made more power because you could spin it slower, we ran around 55% overdrive, where the smaller psi blower needed to run at 125% overdrive to make the same boost. it was interesting the difference in how both made boost, the psi acted like a roots blower, it would have 4-5lb boost while staging at 5500rpm, and have a fairly linear boost curve. the bigger whipple would actually have manifold vacuum at stage rpm, and 1/10 of a second after the clutch came out it would be at 45psi and be at 50psi at the end of the run. looking at the graph on the data logger you would think you were looking at a turbo car.

blower is too big for the engine. thats why most haven't had success with it. TVS 1320 is good for a stock motor/slightly modified motor.... if you can rev that bitch close to 8k that would be fun
