TVS needed for 400whp? Nope.... ;)

Well we decided to tweak my Redlines setup a bit, clean it up, put a good trans in it, etc. Ryan helped alot throughout the project. Just a reminder, my ZZP stroker 2.4L engine made 367whp last year on e85 fuel and ran a 12.2 @ 119mph. I had 1.2 second shift times though, my trans hated me, Ryan has pulled .15 shift times. So I decided to have a ZZP trans built with the 4.45 gear ratio, and we had the ZZP long tube header to test also.
So the current setup is pretty much the same as last year but with a ZZP 4.45 trans, ZZP longtube header, and since we can only get e75 currently we purchased some e98 fuel. We have also found some good info for e85 users, here in Michigan when it hits August e85 is then e80 and every 6 weeks from there it drops 5 more percent until January, then it starts to gain 5% every 6 weeks to get back to E85 (E85 is June/July only). But none of the pumps actually tell you what you are pumping in your tank.
Well Ryan helped me also clean it up under the hood a great deal, because it was mess from last year. Check out my new Heat exchanger!

Here is the dyno sheet:

I have some stuff to fix though, I used a different trans case so it didnt have a speedo sensor in it, so I am going to tie the speedo wire into the rear wheel bearing. That will let me shift the car at about 9500rpm instead of 8192rpm. Because if your PCM doesnt see any MPH the rev limiter multiplier doesnt work.

You're spinning the 2.4L bottom to 9500?

That SC is still moving air efficiently at 9500 RPMs?

How does the ZZP 4.45 trans differ from Powell's 4.45? I noticed you said an different case.

Also, on the E85 subject.. Even though E85 drops to E70 in the winter, it is still very potent stuff and 99% of the people don't need to worry. Even on E70 I can run my same "track" timing map, upwards of 28-29.

PS: Would love to see what a TVS swap would give you.

This is impressive. Shows what a little more displacement and compression can really do

*ball tap*

that theory goes with bone stock LSJ, m62 & 93 octane pump gas.

everyone has known for months that a stock LSJ & m62 with E85 will get past that 300whp barrier with the proper tuning & fueling additions.
