Question the TVS supercharger?????

just wondering what TVS supercharger can fit on our ss models, and what work has to be done to the car to make sure I don't blow the damn thing up lol. I've been doing some searching and I've found that, that is one of the best to put on our cars for higher HP. if anyone can get back to me on this I would greatly appriciate it. thanks

yeah and every single one some one goes off topic and starts talking about how their dyno went or something like that, or they start to argue about which supercharger is better then the other. I just wanted a thread just for the TVS and if anyone could answer my questions without argueing back and forth. and some one that has one put on theirs already

The Harrop HTV1320 is what you are looking at perspectively here. It is the only TVS style blower being made to fit our cars, and it is still in testing. It should be available in the May time frame trough ZZPerformance. If you don't want to blow up your car you will need a good tune, injectors sized accordingly to your pulley choice, as well as an intake and full exhaust. These are just the basics and more parts and add-ons may be involved depending on your ultimate goals with the TVS.

Preliminary talks say in the $2,250.00 range. Which only includes the upgraded blower etc. With a good tune looks like it will be good for 300 HP as the testers are close so far.

well, 2,250 is what the test guys get them for, but due to our horrible american dollar exchange rate and inflation its probably going to be a bit higher like 2500-2750 maybe. Still, for a supercharger that bolts right up to our configuration its pretty good considering all you need are throttle body, exhaust, bigger injectors and a tune if you're running the larger of the pulley's.

they will be either 2250 or 2500$ american.... testers got much lower price.... seeing around 300hp with 3.1 pulley.... additions recommend 60 lb injectors, intake, throttle body, full exhaust, stage 3 clutch, heat exchanger... basics....

And other outlets, including mail-order directly from Harrop USA.
The oulets like ZZP & DDM will almost certainly offer some value-added packaging deals like injectors/throttle-body/coolant-mods/tunes etc.

We are committed to supplying the first batch (50) at the originally advertised price of US$2250. We will need to re-evaluate after that as the currency exchange really hurts us.

Orders can be sent to lsj@harrop.com.au ... no money is required until they are ready for dispatch.

This looks very interesting but very pricey in the total after all is said and done. I wonder if there will be a PCM plug and play for this or if you'll have to get it tuned yourself? And I wonder if the Stage 3 after cooler would suffice.

We will be offering a selection of "starting-point" tunes for downloading from our website. Every application/modification is unique in some way, so all installations should be dyno-tuned.

Do all your supporting mods first. Then when you've sacrificed enough blood to the God's of wrenching. Then drop the huge chunk of change and go get yourself a bigger blower.
